Build a Zoo FAQ

Ten questions, answered from the same checked facts the rest of this section is built on. Where a figure is approximate or a conflict is open, the answer says so.

What is Build a Zoo?

Build a Zoo is a Roblox zoo tycoon game by Century Farmers, played by hundreds of millions of visits worth of players. Eggs roll past on a conveyor belt beside your plot; you buy them, hatch them, and every placed animal pays cash per second. Upgrading the conveyor brings rarer eggs and a bigger gold boost, and a fishing point adds a second egg family.

Is Build a Zoo the same game as Zoo Builder Tycoon?

No. They are two different Roblox games with similar names and a shared zoo theme. Build a Zoo is by Century Farmers and runs on conveyor eggs, mutations and codes. Zoo Builder Tycoon is a much smaller game by kongedragen1 with enclosures and breeding. This section covers Build a Zoo and sits under the Build a Zoo address, which should help keep the two apart.

Can you trade animals in Build a Zoo?

There is no player trading system and no trade values market for this game in any source checked, so there are no trade prices to publish and no WFL calculator to build. Animals are earned by hatching eggs, and this site ranks them by the income the game pays for them.

What is the best animal in Build a Zoo?

On published figures, the Thanksgiving event pet Gobbles, at $30,978/s from the Turkey Egg. The Halloween pet Leshen follows at $28,704/s. Core animals carry arranged income estimates built from the game's egg and conveyor ladder, and those estimates place the Dragon and the Orangutan from the Prismatic pool just behind the two event leaders.

How do you get new animals?

Four ways. Buy eggs off the conveyor belt and hatch them on your plot. Unlock the fishing point for 5,000 cash and fish up the fishing eggs. Play events while they run, because event eggs carry the best documented animals. And redeem codes, because several codes hand out eggs directly, including the Pet Egg and the Sacred Deer Egg.

What do conveyors do in Build a Zoo?

Your conveyor tier decides which eggs can roll past your plot, which animals appear in its pool, and how large your gold boost is. There are 11 tiers, from the free Common conveyor to Transcendent at a +840% gold boost. Each tier also adds a new egg to the belt, and the full ladder with prices is on our conveyors page.

What are mutations in Build a Zoo?

A mutation multiplies the cash per second an animal pays. The documented food and weather ladder runs from Gold at 2x to Jurassic and Snow at 12x, with Sandstorm weather adding +2 to an existing mutation. A second, different ladder is published by the game's wiki, and our mutations page shows both without merging them, because the conflict is not settled.

Are there Build a Zoo codes?

Yes, and they are generous, but they expire fast and several have redemption caps. Our codes page lists the working set at the November 5, 2026 check, each code confirmed by at least two independent lists, with expired codes kept and marked.

How do you make money fast in Build a Zoo?

Climb the conveyor ladder, because every tier raises your gold boost and unlocks stronger eggs, and put mutations on your best animals, because a 12x multiplier beats a small income lead. On published core figures the Snake is the strongest regular earner at about $3,000/s. Our making money fast guide puts the purchases in order, including the three podiums.

What are the big animal podiums?

Podiums are the display spots for big animals. The front podium costs 30,000 cash, a second podium costs 299 Robux, the game's one clearly documented Robux purchase, and the fishing podium costs 50,000 cash. Plot tiles run from 500 to 75,000 cash for the front rows up to 10,000,000 per tile for the last row.

Facts checked on November 5, 2026 against the Build a Zoo wiki on BloxInformer, the TechWiser egg and conveyor guides, Pro Game Guides event, mutation and beginner guides, and the November 2026 code lists named on the codes page. eggvalues.com is a fan site and is not affiliated with Century Farmers or Roblox Corporation. Build a Zoo has no player trading yet, so this section publishes no trade values: rankings use an income index built from the figures on this page.
