How growth works
A dragon's age runs from 1 to 100 across four stages: Young, Juvenile, Adult and Elder. The species' total growth time splits equally across the three intervals between those stages, and the timer runs even while the dragon is unequipped. Young dragons cannot be ridden, bred, Co-Hatched or used to attack. Juveniles can be ridden but not bred. Breeding and Co-Hatching unlock at Adult, which is two thirds of the way through the growth time below. Age changes size and unlocks, not stats. Growth Potions exist for players who would rather skip the wait; the stage a potion grants is shown on the potion in game.
