Fake an Egg trading status

Short answer: you cannot trade pets in Fake an Egg. There is no trade window, no trade request, no trading plaza and no gifting system. This page explains how we know, because one fan wiki claims otherwise and players deserve the receipts.

What the evidence shows

First, the guides. This game is documented in unusual detail, down to feeder fill percentages and scanner unlock levels, by several independent guide sets and wikis. None of them mentions trading anywhere. A trade system is not the kind of feature every guide forgets at once.

Second, the shop. The full shop listing for this game contains one-time items only: hatch skips, scanners, boosts and weather triggers. No trading feature appears in it, and the listing states outright that the game has no gamepasses at all, which gives a sense of how plainly it reports what does and does not exist.

Third, the one claim for trading does not hold up. A single fan wiki FAQ says the game supports player to player trading through a trade window. The same page also says Rebirth resets your pets, which is wrong: checked guides agree Rebirth resets cash only and pets stay. A page that gets a basic, checkable mechanic backwards is not evidence for an invisible trade system.

The workaround that proves the point

Outside the game, on real money marketplaces, sellers do offer Fake an Egg pets for sale, and their handover instructions are public. The buyer disguises as an egg. The seller buys that egg and carries the buyer into the seller's pen. The buyer then drops the disguise and steals the pet they paid for, running it home like any other steal. Read those steps again: they exist only because there is no trade window. If two players could simply trade, nobody would need to smuggle a customer inside their own base disguised as an egg to complete a sale.

We describe that workaround because it is evidence, not because we recommend it. Buying pets for real money sits outside the game's own systems, carries obvious scam risk with no trade window to protect either side, and this site takes no part in it. Stealing inside the game, between players in a server, is the mechanic working as designed. A marketplace handover is something else.

What this means for values

With no trading there is no market, and with no market there are no trade values to track. This section therefore ranks pets by income, the fixed rate the game itself pays, in the same way our Steal An Egg section works. If Slime Time Studios ever ships a real trading system, this page will be updated the same week and trade values will be tracked from that day. Until then, anyone quoting you a trade value for a Fake an Egg pet is quoting a number they invented.

Facts checked on November 5, 2026 against in game pet cards published by Bloxron, egg prices listed by OP.GG, field labels and guides from allthings.how, the shop listing on RobloxDatabase and, for the marketplace documented pets, seller listings on FunPay. eggvalues.com is a fan site and is not affiliated with Slime Time Studios or Roblox Corporation. Fake an Egg has no player trading yet, so this section publishes no trade values: rankings use an income index built from the figures on this page.
