Fish It! FAQ

Last updated: November 6, 2026

Can you trade in Fish It!?

Yes. Trading is a real system in this game: it unlocks at Level 20, and trades run through booths in the Trading Plaza where each listing shows an in game Recent Average Price. Fish and gamepasses can be traded. Rods cannot be traded directly, so a rod changes hands never; it is bought, earned or quested for. Anyone offering to trade you a rod is describing something the game does not do.

What level unlocks codes in Fish It!?

Level 10. The Redeem Codes section sits inside the Exclusive Store, and below Level 10 the game refuses the redemption with a warning. Trading unlocks later, at Level 20, so codes come first in a normal account's life.

How many fish are in Fish It!?

This site documents 270 fish: every fish the official wiki names with a rarity, catch odds and a location in its live index tables, read on November 6, 2026. The wiki prose claims over 415 and OP.GG headers 300, and the audit for this section recorded RobloxDatabase at 273, so the count depends on the source and the date. The 270 published here are the ones with complete documented fields.

What is the rarest fish in Fish It!?

By documented base odds, the Bloodmoon Whale from the Ocean, a Secret tied to the Blood Moon event at 1 in 5,000,000. A shelf of Ocean and event Secrets sit at 1 in 4,000,000 behind it, including the Megalodon. Luck from rods, bait and potions improves your personal odds far beyond the base rate, which is why Secrets get caught at all.

What is the best rod in Fish It!?

By the wiki's documented stats, the Withering Rod from the Forgotten group: Luck starting at 1463%, Speed starting at 316% and a Weight limit up to 2,000,000 kg, earned through a three part quest from the Null NPC. The strongest shop and quest rods below it are the Diamond Rod (1300% Luck, quest) and the Element Rod (1111% Luck, quest).

How do mutations work in Fish It!?

A catch can come out mutated, with one standard mutation at a time. The wiki lists ten, from Stone at a 1.4% chance to Galaxy at 0.5%. A mutation multiplies the sell value of that copy: 2.2x for Stone up to 6.5x for Galaxy. Chance and multiplier are different numbers; the values page keeps them in separate columns because mixing them up is the most common error in guides for this game. Shiny and Big are add on traits, not standard mutations.

Are the values on this site official?

No, and the site says so on every page that prints one. No official value list and no community value list exists for Fish It!, and no source publishes a per fish sell price, so the coin figures here are community estimates arranged on a rarity ladder, each labelled Estimate. The in game Recent Average Price at a Trading Plaza booth is the live market figure; these estimates are the steady cross check next to it.

Why do fish values not match what my fish sold for?

Because a catch sells by its own weight as well as its species. Two fish with the same name can pay out very differently if one is heavy and one is light, and a mutation multiplies the result again. The values here describe a typical plain copy, which is the right anchor for comparing species and for judging trades, not a quote for the exact fish in your bucket.

Do codes expire in Fish It!?

Yes, codes retire without much warning, which is why tracker lists disagree so often for this game. This site lists only the cross tracker consensus set as active, and keeps its expired list empty because no source gives reliable per code expiry dates. Redeem a new code the day you see it rather than saving it.

Is Fish It! the same game as Fisch?

No. They are two different Roblox fishing games from different developers, with different fish, rods and codes. Fish It! is by Fish Atelier. Codes, values and guides for one game do not carry into the other, and this section covers Fish It! only.

Answers checked November 6, 2026. eggvalues.com is a fan site and is not affiliated with Fish Atelier or Roblox Corporation. Trading is live in Fish It! once you reach Level 20, and the values on this site are community estimates, not the in game Recent Average Price and not official prices.
