Steal A Pet And Ride It! FAQ
Quick answers to the questions players ask most about Steal A Pet And Ride It!, including the Ride A Pet name mix up, trading, cages, speed gates and the Dinosaur Era Cage. Every answer is based on the sources checked November 5, 2026.
Is Steal A Pet And Ride It! the same game as Ride A Pet?
No. They are two different games with similar names. Steal A Pet And Ride It! is by Snail Riders, launched in October 2026, and its loop is stealing cages from sleeping bosses, carrying them home and riding the pets that come out. Ride A Pet is an older game by a different creator, built around finding eggs on a map. Guides, codes pages and wikis for one game do not apply to the other.
Can you trade pets in Steal A Pet And Ride It!?
No. There is no trade menu, no gifting and no player to player transfer in this game. Stealing here means taking cages from sleeping boss NPCs. Other players appear as rivals who can try to stop your run home, and you can lasso thieves who come for you, but pets and cages never change hands between players. That is why this section publishes no trade values.
What is the difference between cages and eggs?
Cages are this game's version of eggs, with one big difference in how you get them. An egg in most pet games is bought or found and then hatched. A cage here is stolen: each zone boss guards cages, you grab one and carry it home while the boss chases you, and you open it at your base to reveal the pet. There are 23 cages listed on our cages page, one per zone plus event and limited cages.
What are speed gates and how do they work?
Each zone lists a recommended speed, and that number works as a gate. Speed comes from treadmill training at your base, from the pet you ride, and from boosts such as trails, talismans and rebirth. If your speed is well below a zone target, its boss will usually catch you on the run home. At or above the target, you can carry the cage back and open it. The full ladder runs from no gate in Mushroom Garden to 126 SX in the Black Hole Zone.
How do you unlock World 2?
World 2 unlocks at 200 billion speed. It adds 10 new zones, from the Moon Base at 300B up to the Black Hole Zone at 126 SX, a second barn with new barn skins, and 80 new pets across its 10 biomes, per the official description.
What is the Dinosaur Era Cage?
The Dinosaur Era Cage is a limited cage confirmed in the official description, holding 12 limited pets. It is separate from Dino Valley, which is a regular World 1 zone with its own boss and zone cage. No source publishes the Dinosaur Era Cage odds or its pet names, so our pets index lists all 12 with arranged dinosaur names and shows their incomes as not published, because this limited set sits outside the income ladder.
Are there any codes for Steal A Pet And Ride It!?
No, because the game has no code system and no redeem menu. Code searches for this title return pages for Ride A Pet, a different game, so be careful which game a codes page is really about. The free reward that does exist is a group reward: joining the Snail Riders community claims a free Legendary pet.
How do you get Phantom Sabertooth?
Phantom Sabertooth is the one pet named in any public source for this game. It is a limited pet sold in the Halloween Shop for 2.5M Candy during the Halloween event, reported at 2.75 times your best pet for cash and plus 14 Candy per second. It is bought with event Candy, not found in a zone cage.
What do trails and talismans do?
Trails multiply the speed you gain from treadmill training, from 1.5x for the Gray Trail up to 10x for the Divine Trail, and each can be bought with cash or Robux. Talismans give passive bonuses in 6 families: training, cash, gems, hatch time, luck and speed. Each family has Uncommon, Epic and Mythic tiers, there are 18 talismans in total, and you can equip up to 3 at once. Full tables are on our trails and talismans page.
Do you lose your pets when you rebirth?
No. The official description states that rebirth gives huge boosts and you keep all your pets. Rebirth resets your progress stats for a multiplier, not your collection, so your barn and your rides survive it.
