Tap Simulator REBORN Trading Guide

Trading turns spare pets into the pets you actually want, and in Tap Simulator REBORN everything is priced in tokens, the community's trading currency. This guide covers how a trade works, how to value both sides and how to keep your pets safe.

Know the number before you open the window

Every serious trade starts on the value list. Check each pet on both sides, in the right form: a Golden or Rainbow version is a different item from the Normal pet, usually worth several times more. Add the sides up with the trade calculator. Within 10% is fair; beyond that, the side giving more should ask for adds.

Demand and exist counts change real prices

A listed value is only half the story. Demand labels run from Insane to Very Low: an Insane-demand pet at its listed value is an easy trade, while a Low-demand pet may need a discount to move at all. Exist counts matter just as much. A pet with a few hundred copies in the game holds value because supply cannot grow quickly; when a pet's count is climbing fast, its price usually softens. Pets marked O/C have no fixed price at all, so their trades are pure negotiation.

Machines set the floor for form values

Golden pets can be crafted at the Golden Machine in Spawn, Diamond pets at the Diamond Laser in the Crystal Cave (five Golden copies go in), and Rainbow pets at the timed Rainbow Machine in the Shadow Realm. Because crafting consumes copies, a crafted form rarely trades below the combined value of the pets it takes to make. If someone offers you a Diamond pet for less than five of its Golden form, check twice before celebrating.

Stay safe

Use only the in-game trade window, and complete every swap inside it. Never hand a pet over first on a promise, never follow a link someone sends you to "verify" a trade, and never trade through a middleman you met in chat. Check the final confirmation screen pet by pet and form by form; a Normal swapped in place of a Rainbow at the last second is the oldest trick in every pet game. If a price looks manipulated (this site flags the ones tapsimreborn.com has marked), look at recent real offers before agreeing.
