Build a Zoo trading status: there is no trading system

Short version: Build a Zoo has no player trading system and no trade values, checked November 5, 2026. This guide shows the evidence, explains why zoo game searches keep suggesting otherwise, and sets out what this site publishes instead.

What the game actually has

Animals in Build a Zoo are earned, not exchanged. You buy eggs from the conveyor, fish up fishing eggs, claim event eggs while events run, and receive eggs from codes. A placed animal pays you cash per second. No source that documents this game, not the wiki, not the egg and conveyor guides, not the event guides, describes a trade window, a trading plaza, a gift system or player to player exchange of animals. Where a system that big existed, those sources would document it, the way they document conveyors down to the last price.

Why searches suggest trading exists

Two reasons. First, other zoo and pet games do have trading, and search engines blend their coverage into zoo queries generally. Second, this very web address used to point at a different zoo game, and older coverage of that corner of Roblox mixes the two up. Neither reason puts a trade system inside Build a Zoo. Real money listings for Build a Zoo animals exist on outside marketplaces, but a marketplace listing is a seller's asking price, not a game system and not a value source, and this site does not build values from sales copy.

What eggvalues publishes instead

An income index. Every documented animal is ranked by the cash per second the game pays for it, on the values page and the income rankings, with published rates, approximate figures and arranged estimates each labelled as what they are. Income is the measure the game itself assigns, it needs no market to be real, and it is the number that decides how fast your zoo grows. There is no WFL calculator for Build a Zoo because there are no trades to judge fair or unfair.

If trading ever ships

If Century Farmers adds a trading system in a future update, this page will say so with a date, the values model will be rebuilt around real trade data, and a WFL tool will follow if the trade data supports one. Until then, any site quoting you a trade value for a Build a Zoo animal is quoting a number it made up.

Facts checked on November 5, 2026 against the Build a Zoo wiki on BloxInformer, the TechWiser egg and conveyor guides, Pro Game Guides event, mutation and beginner guides, and the November 2026 code lists named on the codes page. eggvalues.com is a fan site and is not affiliated with Century Farmers or Roblox Corporation. Build a Zoo has no player trading yet, so this section publishes no trade values: rankings use an income index built from the figures on this page.
