Your First Trades: A Beginner Guide to Bee Swarm Tradables
Know the five categories
Everything tradeable in Bee Swarm Simulator falls into five buckets. Stickers are the bulk of the market: hundreds of them, each with a boost at the Sticker Stack, priced from a fraction of a sign to a few signs for the rare ones. Cub Buddy skins are the collector end of the market, where the oldest skins outprice almost everything else in the game. Hive skins are the same idea for your hive and usually cost less. Vouchers redeem for a bee, a buddy or a boost, and price like the thing they give you. Beequips are the trap for beginners: the name tells you almost nothing, because the stat roll and potential on the individual piece set its price.
Where your first tradables come from
The Sticker Printer past the Lion Bee Gate prints stickers, hive skins and Cub Buddy skins for eggs, with a one hour cooldown, and it is where Star Signs come from too: roughly one print in thirty from a Star Egg is the specific sign you want. Stickers also drop from bees, fields, planters and hidden spawns around the map. Beequips come from Dapper Bear's shop, the Stick Bug and Robo Bear challenges, and rare planter drops. You do not need to buy your way in; a week of normal play fills a sticker book with tradeable duplicates.
Your first three trades
Start small and boring. Trade duplicate common stickers for ones your book is missing. Sell your first spare Star Signs only when you know what they buy, because signs are the savings account of this economy. Then, before your first beequip trade, read the build on the piece in front of you and compare it with the build table on its page here: the same beequip name can hide a five sign build and a fifty sign build.
Mistakes that cost beginners signs
Trusting a single price from a single site is the first one; cross-check here, where the sources and their dates are printed. The second is trading at name value for beequips. The third is the two step trade, where the rest of the payment is always coming later and never arrives. And the fourth is believing anyone who offers to trade you a bee: bees cannot go in the window, full stop. The trading guide covers the mechanics, and the calculator will sanity check any offer in seconds.
