Cameraman Tower Defense Godly Units Guide: how to get the rarest units
Last updated: November 6, 2026
Two units in Cameraman Tower Defense carry the Godly rarity: Upgraded Titan TV Man and Upgraded Titan Cameraman. They are the strongest and most wanted units in the game, and they are priced accordingly, at 4,000 and 2,900 gems on the primary list. This guide is about getting one without lying to yourself about the maths, because the summon odds in this game are low enough that hope is a genuinely expensive strategy.
The honest summon maths
Upgraded Titan TV Man sits in the Basic Crate at 0.01 percent. Read that number plainly: on average, one pull in ten thousand returns it. Ten-pulls do not change the rate, only the speed at which you spend. A player who opens a thousand Basic Crates, at 100 Coins each, has spent 100,000 Coins for roughly a one in ten chance of seeing the Godly once. Some players hit it in their first week. That is luck, not a method, and building your plan around being that player is how accounts end up with no Coins, no gems and a team of duplicate starters.
The Mythic Crate improves the picture without transforming it. Its Godly slot sits at 0.1 percent, ten times the Basic rate, but the crate costs 900 Coins against 100, so per Coin spent the improvement is modest: about 11 percent better odds per Coin, with far better consolation prizes along the way, including the 0.8 percent Large Laser Cameraman. If you are summoning for a Godly at all, the Mythic Crate is the rational crate, mainly because the pulls that miss still advance your team.
The trade route, which is the real route
Most Godly units change hands through trading, and the path there is saving gems with intent. Price your target first: 4,000 gems for Upgraded Titan TV Man, 2,900 for Upgraded Titan Cameraman, at the last check. Then work backwards. Every duplicate Epic and above from your normal summons is a deposit. Event units you earn and do not need are deposits. Crates you win and do not open are deposits, since unopened crates trade in this game. Sold steadily in the Trading Plaza at list prices, ordinary play accumulates a Godly fund faster than most players expect, because the economy pays for exactly the units casual players sit on.
While you save, keep the fund in units rather than chasing a gem balance if your offers keep arriving as items: this market trades unit for unit far more often than it trades units for a currency pile, so holding two or three mid value units that everyone wants is more liquid than it looks on paper.
Crates, passes and packs
The other Godly-adjacent route is the crate ecosystem around the summon board. The Spider Crate and Scientist Crate, bought with gems, hold Exclusive units like Spider TV and Engineer Cameraman, which trade at or above Godly prices and can be swapped toward a Godly in the Plaza. The Halloween battle pass put Executioner TV Man at its premium tier 30, a unit rarer by exist count than either Godly. None of these are shortcuts exactly, but they share one virtue the summon board lacks: progress you can see. A pass advances every match whether or not luck shows up, and a crate fund grows every time you deposit instead of opening on impulse.
A sane plan
Play matches with your best team and let summons happen from winnings, not from hope. Sell every duplicate above Rare within a few days while prices are fresh in your mind. Put the proceeds toward the cheaper Godly first, since Upgraded Titan Cameraman at 2,900 gems is also the strongest unit in the game by max DPS, then let it carry harder modes that pay better Coins. And set a hard rule for yourself: when the fund reaches the target, buy the unit, rather than moving the target to a shinier one. The rarest units reward the players who finish a plan.
