The fair rule

The fair rule: a trade is Fair when the gap between the sides is no more than 10 percent of the larger total. Past the fair band, a gap of up to 25 percent of the larger total reads as a plain Win or Lose, and anything bigger is a Big Win or Big Lose. Win and Lose are always from your side: you win when their side totals more than yours.

Totals are not the whole deal. Demand decides how fast each side can be sold on, and a fair total built from low demand creatures can be worse in practice than a small loss built from high demand ones. Mutations, glimmer and other copy specific traits can also move a single creature away from its list figure, so price the copy in front of you, not only the name.
