Adopt Me events
Adopt Me runs on events. Almost every pet players chase arrived through one, and almost every value on this site moves because of one. This page explains how they work and keeps a dated note of what is happening right now.
How events work
Uplift updates the game every Friday, and the big seasonal events (Halloween in October, the winter event in December, plus spring and summer events between them) run for several weeks at a time. A seasonal event usually brings a temporary area on the map, its own currency, its own shops, and new pets released in weekly waves, so coming back each week matters. Saturday Admin Abuse sessions often launch an event or boost its earnings for an hour.
Event currency is the engine: you earn it from event minigames and activities, and spend it in the event shops before the event ends. When a seasonal event closes, a short closing phase gives leftover currency one last shop. After that, the pets and items are gone from sale and can only be traded, which is when their values start their real climb or slide. The currencies themselves are covered in the Bucks and currencies guide.
Right now: November 1, 2026
Halloween 2026 has ended. The event ran from October 3 to October 31, and the full recap is below. The Halloween Wagon arrives on Monday, November 2: it is the closing shop where leftover Candy Corn can still be spent on almost everything the event sold. If you are holding Candy Corn, that wagon is your last chance to use it. Live timers for the wagon, the Friday update and Admin Abuse run on the update countdown page.
Next up is the winter event. Adopt Me's Christmas and winter event returns every December, and Uplift has not announced this year's dates yet (checked November 1, 2026). When they land, this page and the updates log will carry them the same day.
Halloween 2026 recap
