About the Withering Rod
The Withering Rod sits in the Forgotten group of the Fish It! rod ladder. Its documented line is Luck 1463% and up, Speed 316% and up and a Weight limit of 1,400,000 kg to 2,000,000 kg, which is the heaviest single catch the rod can hold. You get it this way: Talk to the Null NPC, then a three part quest: the Withering Reel, the Withering Handle from Sunken Treasure Chests, and the Withering Core fished up after the first two parts.
Rods do not trade directly in Fish It!, so a rod is earned, bought with coins, bought as a gamepass, or built through its quest chain, never picked up from another player at a booth. If you are choosing your next upgrade, compare the full ladder on the rods index, price your catch on the values page, and check the codes page for potions that stretch a session further.
