Adopt Me egg hatch value checker

Should you hatch that egg or keep it sealed? This page does the maths for every tradable egg in the game. For each egg we work out the average value of what hatches out of it, using the egg's published tier odds and the current trading value of every pet inside, then set that average next to what the sealed egg itself trades for. When the average hatch is worth more than the sealed egg, hatching wins on paper. When the sealed egg trades for more than its contents average, the egg is worth more unopened.

How the average is worked out

For each rarity tier in an egg, we take the tier's hatch chance and multiply it by the average value of the pets in that tier, then add the tiers together. Pets with their own published odds are counted one by one instead. Pet values are the regular (no potion) values from our values list, snapshot November 1, 2026.

Two honest warnings. First, an average is not a promise: most hatches land in the common and uncommon tiers, and the average is propped up by a small chance of a legendary worth far more than the egg. Second, sealed eggs carry a collector premium that has nothing to do with what is inside, which is why the oldest eggs look so one sided. A Safari Egg trades on its age and rarity as an item, not on the pets it holds. If you are opening eggs for fun, open them.
