How to get Akanthos
Obtained outside the normal gacha pools (wiki class: Shadow Creature and Artifact Creature); most copies reach new owners through trades. Whatever the route in, the practical shortcut is the same one traders use for everything in Sonaria: earn mush, watch the trade world, and buy the species or the stored slot from a player who already has it, checking the price against this page first.
What Akanthos is worth
The values table places Akanthos at 12 of 493, and its current figure is 100,000 mush. Set against its neighbours, it sits between Aereis at 200,000 mush and Garra Warden at 100,000 mush. Read it as a sourced list figure from the November 6, 2026 check, not as a guess arranged on this site.
Demand matters as much as the headline figure. A creature with high demand finds a buyer quickly at or near its listed value, while a low demand creature at the same price can sit in the trade world for a long time or sell at a discount. Before you accept Akanthos in a deal, run both sides through the trade calculator so the totals, not the names, decide whether the trade is fair.
Is Akanthos worth chasing?
Yes, as a trade asset this is top shelf material: a value this high with real demand behind it holds its price and anchors big deals. As a creature to play, its tier and movement type are what you will actually feel, so chase it for the roster spot as much as for the price.
